Volunteering can be a brilliant way to boost your mental wellbeing. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re helping young people get skills for life, and you might even learn a lot about yourself along the way

We would love more help in any of our sessions – you don’t have to help every week, any time is appreciated!

Outline: Team Members are adult volunteers who assist the Team Leader in delivering the programme to young people in Scouting.

Appointment requirements: Complete a DBS (police check). During the five months of you joining there are some online training modules to do i.e. safety, safeguarding etc

Main tasks you could help with:

  • Running games and activities
  • Assisting young people to achieve badges and awards
  • Assisting with residential experiences

Our volunteers are not experts in everything!

Take a look at our badges below and if there is anything you can help with periodically or annually we would appreciate your input and support.

Our teams can help deliver the session if you are not so confident teaching/talking to larger groups – you won’t be left alone

We have lots of jobs to complete around the site. If you have a skill and/or trade that we would benefit from please contact us…
